Note: The deep intense blue and high luster of a Sri Lankan sapphire is widely admired and appreciated around the world. Perhaps the most famous of all is the one worn by Kate Middleton. This lot is an extraordinary example of a large unheated Sri Lankan sapphire which displays an evenly distributed blue, similar to that of a Kashmir.
