beautifully painted with the Eight Immortals, traversing a verdant scene to greet Shoulao, each deity depicted carrying various auspicious tributes and accompanied by a deer or attendants, all within a landscape decorated with pavilions, jagged cliffs, gnarled pine trees and distant mountains, the plaque set within a reticulated hardwood frame and on a matching stand, the frame and stand carved in openwork with angular archaistic dragon scrolls.
