Depicting the life of Dalai Lama Ngag.dbang blo-bzang rga-mtsho (1617-1682). Avalokiteshvara, his left hand holding the cakra. The Fifth Dalai Lama is seated in the center of the painting with legs crossed on a cushion wearing finely painted monastic robes, his face with mesmerizing expression, specific bonnet, in front of him lamas and laymen presenting offerings, surrounded by various scenes from his life, including his birth and formation years, each inscribed in gold dBu can script.
