The figure is sitting sumptuously in dhyanasana above a base surrounded by two orders of elaborate tufts of lotus. The left hand represented in the dhyanamudra, the mudra of meditation, and the right hand in bhumisparsamudra, the gesture of testimony of the earth. The face is portrayed in serene contemplation with low eyes and bow-shaped mouth, ears with pendulous lobes pierced by vertical loopholes and hair arranged in a series of small protruding spirals that converge towards a domed ushnisha dominated by a jewel 'spherical in shape.
