with shallow sides rising from a short foot to an everted rim, the interior medallion finely painted with a writhing five-clawed iron-red dragon pursuing a flaming pearl amidst blue cloud scrolls, within a double-circle also repeated at the rim, the exterior with a similar pair of dragons and 'flaming pearls', the base inscribed with Jingya tang zhi (Hall of fine elegance) in underglaze blue.
