the deep rounded sides rising from a short straight foot, brightly decorated around the exterior with four large scaly dragons in mutual pursuit of flaming pearls, the interior with a medallion similarly painted, the base with an apocryphal Chenghua mark.

Provenance: Purchased in London, 13th May 1975.
