the compressed globular body supported by a splayed foot and rising to a waisted cylindrical neck, painted with a pair of dragons pursuing a flaming pearl amidst ruyi clouds above a band of lappets, the shoulder with shou characters and lotus meander, the neck with the bajixiang in two rows below a band of ruyi encircling the mouth, the base with gilt apocryphal Kangxi mark within a roundel of painted dragons.
