the baluster body rising to a waisted neck, applied overall with a vitreous burgundy-red glaze streaked with deep lavender-blue and thinning to a mushroom tone around the rim and stopping neatly at the foot, the base unglazed.
Provenance: Acquired in Boston, 1940-1960s, and thence by descent.
