the finely potted flaring body rising from a short straight foot to an everted rim, finely gilt decorated to the interior with two bats in flight and a large peach inscribed wan shou wu jiang ('May you live forever'), the exterior encircled with three rows of shou characters divided by the signature Woji Jushi ('Hermit in a Snail Shell') followed by two seals 'Tao' and 'Zhu', all above a keyfret band at the foot, the base with underglaze blue seal mark.
