the deep rounded sides rising from a short, slightly tapered foot, the exterior subtly molded with overlapping lotus petals, covered overall with an unctuous soft sea-green glaze suffused with a network of fine craquelure, save for the unglazed foot ring, revealing the gray stoneware body burnt orange from firing.
