each with gently rounded sides supported on a slightly spreading foot, the center of the interior wreathed in a scrolling foliate vine molded in low relief, with the four loops of the vine encircling a pendent flower in bloom, the motif repeating around the cavetto with the characters shu and fu positioned at opposite sides of the dish amongst the undulating stems, covered overall in an unctuous white glaze.

Provenance: Collection of Stephen Junkunc III (d. 1978).
