The brilliant-cut diamond weighing 15.6 carats.

Accompanied by GIA report dated 28 September 2018 stating that the 15.6 carat is D color, flawless clarity, with excellent cut, excellent polish, and excellent symmetryAlso accompanied by a GIA diamond type classification report stating that the 15.6 carat Round Brilliant diamond is determined to be a Type IIa diamond. Type IIa diamonds are the most chemically pure type of diamond and often have exceptional optical transparency.

Diamond are crystalized from carbon under immerse pressure and heat thousands of millions year ago, at a depth of 100 miles or more beneath the surface of the Earth. Mankind has had a long history of appreciating the allure of a stone that demonstrate such gleaming light. Almost 2500 years ago, the diamond was already categorized as “the jewel above all others”. 

It falls into the Type IIa diamond category, which accounts for only up to 2% of all diamonds. Type IIa diamonds are the most chemically pure and often have exceptional optical transparency. Type IIa diamonds contain almost no impurities, and are free from the more common nitrogen impurities within the crystal lattice found in Type I diamonds.
