The vase is potted in bulbous form rising from an unglazed footring to a flared mouth. The exterior is moulded with lush fruiting double-gourd vines amid five-pointed leaves and curling tendrils, then being evenly applied pale celadon glaze on the raised surfaces to enhance the decoration. The countersunk base was sealed with a six-character mark.
