the cylindrical sides supporting a columnar neck with a galleried rim, boldly painted around the body in brilliant cobalt tones with four qilin frolicking on rocks rising vertiginously from a roiling sea, the creatures exchanging playful glances, the wisps of qi emanating from bodies heightening their sense of animation, clouds and distant peaks looming overhead, the neck with bands of interlocking-T-scroll, classic scroll, and ruyi heads.
