Crisply carved in the round with two interlocking sinuous chilong with bifurcated tails crawling over an oblong disc, the stone of a white translucent tone highlighted by small russet inclusions. 

Provenance: a distinguished Italian private collection formed circa 1930s-1940s, and thence by descent.
