The monumental head is carved with a serene expression, the downcast tear-shaped eyes half closed in mediation below a high-relief urna in the centre of the forehead, above the pursed lips and between long pendulous ear lobes, the hair in tight curls rising to a high usnisha, stand.
Provenance: Chang Wei Hwa & Co., Taipei, acquired in 1992.
