a) Goshomaru chawan from ferrous, dark red brown stoneware with grey whitish glaze, finely crazed. The steep wall in the upper part a bit deformed and with grooves from turning below the offset lip. The lower part faceted. The glaze with strong pink Amamori spots. Crack with old gold lacquer repair. H.7,2cm, Ø 12,2cm. Wooden box with inscription inside the lid: Totoan (Kuroda Ryoji). Purple silk bag.
b) Ichimonji chawan on high flared and cut (warikodai) foot. At the body a slice of the lip from the lower bowl of the stack when fired. H. 9cm, Ø 13,6cm. Unsigned wooden box. Condition A/B.
