of circular section and compressed ovoid form, the waisted neck with wide flared mouth, inlaid in white and black slip, the broad shoulder decorated with a chrysanthemum scroll, the base encircled with lotus lappets, all covered with a celadon glaze, with three spur marks on base, Japanese wood box (6).
Provenance: Mayuyama & Co., Ltd., Tokyo, acquired between 1960-1969.
