The bowl is covered overall with a deep olive glaze thinning to golden buff color on the mouth rim, and the foot rim is covered in a dark brown wash, wood box.
Provenance: Tokyo Bijutsu Club auction of bonzai-related wares from the collections of Yamanaka Rakuraku Do and two other private collections, 18 February 1940.
