The exterior is decorated with six panels decorated with alternating landscpae scenes and calligraphic inscriptions, enclosed by gilt and iron red-enameled floral borders. The interior and base are enameled in turquoise. An apocryphal Qianlong seal mark is on the base, Japanese wood box.
