finely carved in the form of a crane with its head turned towards its back, rendered conjoined with a smaller crane by its side, the larger crane depicted with a gnarled sprig of fruiting peaches in its beak, the smaller one with a long lingzhi stem, both birds with their legs tucked neatly beneath their bodies, their plumage exquisitely picked out, the stone of pale greenish-white colour with russet inclusions to one sides, wood stand.
