The trumpet-shaped neck is cast with four cicada blades, the central and bottom sections with taotie masks reserved on a leiwen ground, which are divided by four vertical ribbed flanges. There is extensive malachite encrustation, Japanese double wood box, the interior of one box with an inscription by Hata Zoroku III (1854-1932) describing the vessel.
