The fitting is in the shape of a sword slide with curved ends. The front is well carved and undercut through the 'black' area of the stone with a chilong grasping a lingzhi sprig in its jaws, while on the reverse there is a rectangular slide pierced with holes for attachment, and a small animal-head hook. The whitish area of the stone has fine brown veining throughout.
