The bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara is shown seated in lalitasana on a lotus socle supported on the back of a caparisoned mythical beast, its head turned backwards as it strides beside an acolyte on the rectangular base. The bodhisattva holds an elixir bottle, and is richly arrayed in beaded jewelry and a five-point crown centered by the figure of Amitabha Buddha.
