Each tapering ovoid jar is carved with a central foliate scroll band between a band of petal-lappets below and a smaller band of foliate scroll on the shoulder below a sawtooth band on the neck. The domed cover has similar foliate scroll, and below a flower head carved at the base of the bud handle.
