The long tapering horn carved in high relief and openwork with 'The Three Friends', pine, prunus and bamboo, leading up to three scholars standing on cloud scrolls and rockwork beside a deer and crane, below the cup section detailed with peach and further bamboo, the horn of a warm honey tone shading to dark brown at the tip, carved wood stand.
