The well-proportioned cup is finely decorated to the exterior with a five-clawed dragons racing soaring sinuously amongst lotus scrolls. The interior is undecorated except for double lines at the mouth rim and a line of lanca characters below. The centre of the interior is inscribed with an apocryphal four-character Xuande mark. The base is flat and unglazed, revealing the white biscuit body.
