The dish is finely decorated in wucai with a center of peonies and foliage surrounded by branches laden with pomegranates, khakis, peaches and calabashes. The exterior is painted with lotus flowers in foliage scrolls and stylized clouds. The base is inscribed with a six-character mark in a double circle in blue under cover the base.
