square form, fritware decorated in underglaze cobalt blue, emerald green, turquoise and bole red, outlined in black, with stylised split-leaf palmettes surrounded by spiralling tendrils issuing interlocking saz leaves, stylised flowerheads and composite lotus blossoms.
Note: A panel composed of four related tiles is held at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, inv.no. 988-1884. A further comparable tile is in the Ömer Koç collection (Bilgi 2015, pp.222-3, no.77).
