of hexagonal form, the cover carved with a scholar and his attendant travelling towards a pavilion amidst lush vegetation and jagged rocks, all reserved against a diaper ground and undulating lines, the sides carved with alternating scenes of scholars and various floral blooms, the interiors and base lacquered black.
