the rounded sides rising from a straight foot to a flared rim, the exterior incised with two five-claw dragons in pursuit of flaming pearls amidst cloud scrolls and above turbulent foaming waters, skirted around the foot with a keyfret band, applied to the exterior with an aubergine colour glaze, the base with a six-character seal mark in underglaze blue.
