the ovoid body supported on a spreading foot and rising to a slender waisted neck and flared rim, incised to the main body with a frieze of composite lotus scrolls between keyfret bands, the neck similarly decorated below a band of ruyi heads to the rim, covered overall in a deep yellow glaze, the base with a six-character seal mark in underglaze blue.
