The necklace is comprised of one hundred and eight spherical aloeswood beads, spaced by four larger fotou agate beads. A double gourd-form coral fotouta and jadeite plaque suspending an amethyst toggle mounted with a cloisonné enamel bat hang from the centre. Three strings of jinian comprised of aquamarine beads suspending further amethyst drop-shaped pendants adorned with similar bats hang from the sides, spaced with coral beads.
