Moulded standing four-square on a rectangular-base plate and covered in amber glaze, the head slightly turned to one side with its mouth open, with a matched unglazed pottery sattle.
Provenance: Acquired from Marchant & Son, London, late 1970s/early 1980s.
The result of Oxford Authentication Thermoluminescence Test number C119p34 is consistent with the dating of this lot.
