Modelled standing upon a rectangular base, the head raised upwards and turned slightly to the side, wearing a saddle cloth, covered in a streaked glaze of amber, green and buff tones.
Provenance: The Ortolani Collection, Montevideo, acquired in the 1950s.
Acquired by the current owner circa 2000.
The result of Oxford Authentication Thermoluminescence Test number C119p37 is consistent with the dating of this lot.
