Modelled standing on a rectangular base, the head raised upwards and mouth held open, wearing a saddle cloth on its back, covered in a rich glaze of streaked green, amber and buff tones.
Provenance: The Ortolani Collection, Montevideo.
Acquired by the current owner in 1990s.
The result of Oxford Authentication Thermoluminescence Test number C119p36 is consistent with the dating of this lot.
