The palette is well modelled in the shape of a spray of lingzhi fungus growing on a branch, with the main fungus forming the flattened palette. The underside base is subtly contoured conforming to the overall shape, with the reign mark written in underglaze blue. With exception of several spur marks on the underside base, the vessel is covered overall in a lustrous glaze of pale bluish-grey tone, box.
