The bowl is decorated to the exterior in bright enamels with two scaly dragons chasing flaming pearls and two long-tailed phoenix, all amidst leafy floral scrolls. The rim has a band containing the Eight Buddhist Emblems, bajixiang, and the interior depicts a central medallion with a further dragon and flaming pearl, wood stand, box.
