An unusual small blue and white bottle vase, 17th-18th century

The compressed pear-shaped body is decorated with four shou- character roundels surrounded by a border of ruyi heads reserved on the white ground below a ruyi band at the top of the neck and the everted rim. An unglazed foot ring encircles the countersunk base.
Provenance: Tim and Sally Turner Collection, acquired in 1992.
