Note: It is rare to find a Kangxi dish of this type, with green and aubergine dragons on the interior, combined with cranes and clouds on the reverse. Dishes of this type are more commonly decorated with clusters of grapes, such as the example sold at Christie's Hong Kong, 30 November, 2011, lot 3132. A similar Kangxi-marked dish, also with cranes and clouds on the reverse, was sold at Sotheby's Hong Kong, 17 May 1988, lot 102.
