One dish is decorated on the interior with a pair of stylized phoenixes confronted amidst clouds, and on the exterior with a pair of similar phoenixes in flight. The other dish is decorated on the interior with a dragon leaping amidst flames in pursuit of a flaming pearl, and on the exterior with a pair of dragons at similar pursuit.
