Painted around the compressed, globular body with two quatrefoil reserves framing scenes of two gentlemen with frolicking boys and an official holding a hu tablet greeting two maidens and their attendant in an interior, the tall, tapered neck painted with two bands of a scholar and his attendants, in a terraced landscape, and sprigs of bamboo, separated by a bow-string band and set between cross-hatch and fret borders.
