Each plate is decorated to the centre with a petal-shaped cartouche depicting a mountainous river landscape. The rim is decorated with eight enamelled flower cartouches alternating with cartouches in gilt, all reserved on a powder-blue ground. 

Provenance: Acquired by the current vendor's father in Europe in the early 20th Century.
