the compressed globular body rising from a slightly tapered foot, to a short tapering rim, painted on the exterior with an immortal reclining on cragged rocks near a recumbent deer below a band of incised foliage at the shoulder, the domed cover with a scholar looking up at the moon and circled by a similar band of incised foliage.
