of conical form with everted rim resting on a low knife-pared foot, the interior with a central stylized flowerhead medallion set with the character yang encircled by an undulating stem sprouting three large blooms and buds with curling leaves, the exterior with carved fluting radiating from the foot, the transparent, lightly crackled gray-green glaze pulling away in small areas around the base to reveal the body .
