each baluster body rising from a spreading foot with recessed base to a short straight neck with rolled rim, moulded around the body with three tiers of spiralling and overlapping petal-shaped panels enclosing leafy foliate scrolls reserved on a blue ground, all between chevron bands at the foot and shoulder, the neck with lotus scroll and chevron bands, the similarly painted domed cover with barbed rim and lotus bud finial.
