NoteOne of several paintings which reproduces a lost portrait of the powerful daughter of Suleyman the Magnificent (r.1522-66) by Titian, believed originally to have formed part of the collection of Bishop Paolo Giovio (1483-1552). Other versions include those at the Pera Museum, Turkey (inv. no. 102); the Courtauld Institute, London (inv. no. 331); and at Lacock Abbey (National Trust), Wiltshire (inv.no.996348)

After Titian (Pieve di Cadore 1488/90 - Venice 1576), Cameria, or Mihrimah Sultan (1522-1578), daughter of Suleiman the Magnificent, 1600 - 1699. Oil on canvas, 117,5 x 87 cm, Lacock Abbey and the Fox Talbot Museum, Wiltshire, South West, National Trust, (inv.no.996348).
