of octagonal lobed form supported on four cabriole feet, the curved shallow sides painted with gilt-decorated wan characters above stylised lotus borne on leafy sprigs, all reserved on a lavender ground extending to the underside, the flat mouthrim decorated with further lotus and florets reserved on a pink ground, all between gilt-decorated borders, the interior covered with a turquoise glaze.
