well potted with high rounded shoulders rising to a short waisted neck with an everted rim and tapering to a slightly flared foot, finely painted with bright washes of cobalt blue with a gnarled prunus tree and two magpies, one bird perched on a branch and the other in flight, the blossoms delicately painted in well-controlled copper-red tones of pink, the trunk of the tree depicted with thin tight brushstrokes, all below a full moon.
