Each dish is decorated in the interior with a qilin galloping in a lush garden setting with flames escaping from its mouth and looking upwards towards a phoenix in flight amidst multicolored cloud scroll. An artemisia leaf mark is inscribed within double circles in underglaze blue on the base.
